Madi lost two teeth in Kindergarten but hasn't lost any since then. A few weeks ago she was telling us that she had a loose tooth so I told her to keep wiggling it. At the dinner table a few nights ago she was showing us how loose the tooth was and that she could push it clear up so that it was almost laying out flat. Then today she came and showed me again how it was just barely hanging on. I was picking some laundry and she was following me around telling me about what happened at school when all of the sudden she blurts out, "I PULLED OUT MY TOOTH!!" Now this is the girl that when she had her first loose tooth we decided to do the dental floss around the door trick to get it out and it was a total and complete disaster full of drama drama drama... I have a video that is priceless.. One of my favorite parts of the video was just after we tried to slam the door and Madi realized that this was going to be a little painful she yelled and me and said, "WHY DID YOU DO THIS!!!" You would probably have to see the video to get the full effect but believe me it was pretty darn funny. Anyway, back to this tooth... I looked in her mouth and sure enough the tooth had come out and she was now bleeding. I was a little worried that the blood was going to freak her out but she didn't seem to be fazed by it and ran to her dad to show him.
I can't get over how grown up she is getting. She's already 7 and loosing her third baby tooth. Oh how the time flies.
